High Temperature Resistance Kapton Tape
 
It is perfect for use in DCC decoder installations because it is extremely thin, extremely durable, can withstand high temperatures up to 260 deg. C, will not melt or go sticky like PVC or plastic tapes and has excellent electrical resistance properties which is great for insulating.
A must-have product for any DCC installation.

Holding decoders and wires in place.
Insulate metal parts for decoder installations
            (Eg. Brass models or metal chassis against pick-ups)
