The DCC Solutions Power Amplifier is your answer to solving this problem!
If you have ESU 21 Pin decoders, like the LokSound V4.0, LokSound SELECT or LokPilot V4.0, and you want to add more light options, then this power amplifier is what you need to do the job.
The ESU V4.0 decoders with the 21 pin interface only have 4 light outputs that are amplified (powered) to be able to drive loads directly, such as LED lighting. These decoders also have two additional logical outputs which are not amplified (powered) but can be converted via the use of this Power Amplifier to add a powered AUX3 and AUX4 output from the decoder.
By installing the Power Amplifier, making some simple wiring alterations inside your loco, you will be able to reproduce more prototypical features for operating the headlights, white and red markers lights. The front and rear headlights will operate with the headlight outputs, and then you have the choice of 4 light outputs that can be assigned to 4 individual function keys of your choice.
The Power Amplifier is so versatile that it can provide additional lighting options by connecting the output wires to any light wire of your choice inside the loco to be controlled by AUX3 and AUX4. Now you can enjoy more prototypical lighting and sound in your locomotive.
Installation is simple – Solder the 3 input wires to the 21 pin socket on the PCB inside the loco and 2 output wires to your LED lights in the loco. Comes with full colour installation instructions specifically for installing in the Auscision AN (2013 Release) and colour coded wire matching the manufacturer's wiring inside the locomotive.
